Required in-car instruction for teens: 7 driving + 7 observation periods.

The required behind-the-wheel course for students under 18: fourteen 50-minute periods (7 active driving, 7 observation), a minimum of 50 miles of in-vehicle driving, and the final road-skills evaluation. On completion you receive the documentation needed to satisfy Virginia's in-vehicle requirement.
